Pavla Křivanová, known by the artist name DaydreamArt. A dreamer who believes that every blank canvas holds a story — it just needs to be set free.

The need to create has been with me my whole life — only the form keeps changing. As a child it was candles, knitting, paper crafts — anything. My favourite place? A stationery and art supply shop. My favourite gift? A big creative set. Creativity has always been part of me, just searching for its shape.

My greatest lesson came from a single painting — the one where I stopped thinking, planning, expecting for the first time. Just trusting the process. It was the beginning of an entirely new way of creating. To this day it is my favourite painting — it hangs in my home and is not for sale.

Příroda Nature is my greatest inspiration. Its unpredictability, strength, colours, beauty. From childhood I loved being outside — in the forest, by the water, among animals. I am fascinated by what nature can create without a single plan — just like that painting that changed everything. That energy is what I try to capture on canvas — seasoned with a touch of abstract and imagination. Acrylic and mixed media are my tools, bold colours my language. I paint in the evenings and on weekends, with a favourite cup of tea and good music. Slowly, in small pieces — one painting can take several weeks to complete. It is my way of pausing for a moment, breathing, and being alone with myself and the canvas. I could not function without creating.

I want whoever takes a painting home to carry with them a piece of calm, freedom, and hope — quietly captured on canvas.
